Calvary Baptist Church

Bro. Max came to Calvary Baptist Church on September 14, 2014 after having pastored churches in Augusta, Arkansas and Griffithville, Arkansas. Bro. Max was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1993. He was married to his wife, Pam in 1985. They are the parents of two adult children, and the proud grandparents of two granddaughters. 

Bro. Max served two terms as President of the Augusta, Arkansas Ministerial Alliance while pastoring in Augusta. He has made numerous mission trips to San Luis Potosi in Mexico and has seen many people come to know the Lord as their Saviour while on those trips.

Shawn Baker serves as our Youth Director here at Calvary. He is married to Tonya and is the father of two children. 

Rachel Webb is our music director and does a wonderful job. She is the parents of three grown women and is also a proud grandparent. 

Pam Sharp is our church pianist and is also married to our pastor, Bro. Max.

Janette Richards serves as our church organist and does a great job. She is married to her husband of 65 years, Don.

Linda Holleman serves as our Sunday School Director and is married to her husband, Mark.
